Terms of Service

1. The service

ScoredWell is a manual job-search assistant. You add job postings, and ScoredWell scores how well each role fits your professional profile and, on your request, generates tailored application documents (a CV and a cover letter). ScoredWell is a tool to assist your job search; it does not apply to jobs on your behalf and does not guarantee any interview, offer, or employment outcome.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to create an account and to consent to the processing of your personal data.

3. Your account

ScoredWell is currently offered as an invite-only beta. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your profile up to date. You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page.

4. Your content and accuracy

You retain ownership of the résumé, reference files, and other content you provide. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service (including sharing it with the sub-processors described in our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for reviewing every generated document before you use it, and for the accuracy and truthfulness of any application you submit to an employer. ScoredWell is designed not to fabricate facts or figures that are not present in your own résumé, but you remain responsible for what you send.

5. AI-generated output

Fit scores, CVs, and cover letters are produced by automated systems and may contain errors or omissions. They are provided “as is” as decision support. You should review, edit, and verify all output before relying on it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempts to breach security or access other users’ data, no reverse engineering, no automated scraping of the service, and no uploading of content you do not have the right to provide.

7. Plans, billing, and renewals

Paid plans are not yet active, so no charges are made during the beta. When paid plans launch, payment will be handled by our Merchant of Record, and we will present the full pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms — including how to cancel and what happens at the end of any free trial — clearly before you are charged. Subscriptions are intended to renew automatically until you cancel, and you will be able to cancel at any time.

8. Email communications

With your consent, we may send you digest and notification emails about your job search and service updates. Every such email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScoredWell is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (which, during the free beta, is zero).

10. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the service and its users.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts located in the Philippines for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date and the policy version, and we may ask you to re-confirm your agreement.
